Now he walks in quiet solitude the forest and the streams
Seeking grace in every step he takes
His sight has turned inside himself to try and understand
The serenity of a clear blue mountain lake
And the Colorado Rocky Mountain high
I’ve seen it rainin’ fire in the sky
You can talk to God and listen to the casual reply
Rocky Mountain high … Colorado
~ John Denver
Aspen … the very word conjures up breathtaking images . . . spectacular mountain scenery, world-class skiing, scenic trails, abundant wildflowers and thundering mountain streams.
Aspen is all of that and more … first-class boutiques and restaurants, a wide range of fine-art galleries, an internationally renowned summer music festival, and an urban cultural scene which belies its small-town charm.
What is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?
~ Mary Oliver
