And you will begin to understand the importance of creating a life that is rich with experiences and filled with joy, compassion, and deep connection.

Begin by listening as you answer the question . . .
How can I be true to myself?

If your compassion does not include yourself, it is incomplete.
~ Jack Kornfield

SELF-CARE RETREAT:  SATURDAY, JANUARY 30TH

In this four-hour retreat you will learn to see how self-compassion, encouragement, leisure, and fun can deeply enrich and enliven your life. And how utilizing your self-care toolbox in new and exciting ways ~ through mindfulness, play, and reflection ~ can nourish you in new and vitally important ways.

Through elements such as connection, awareness, recognition and elation, you will create your own distinct and unique self-care plan that will create a more authentic, peaceful and meaningful life.

Why Self-Care now?

Because in the time of Covid it is even more vital that you find ways to feel truly nurtured and begin to treat yourself like your own best friend. And in order to connect to your true authentic self and attend to your true wants and needs, it requires being aware of what brings you joy.

Authentic self-care is about befriending and creating a relationship with yourself that is deeply rooted in trust and your mind-body connection. It is then that you can create balance between the physical, mental, and emotional components that make up self-care.

Through this retreat you will learn how authentic self-care can . . .

~ Connect you to what matters most to you.
~ Position you to prioritize your own needs.
~ Motivate you to create healthy, meaningful new habits.
~ Inspire a positive mindset.
~ Help you advocate for your own well-being.

Talk to yourself as you would someone you love.

SELF-COMPASSION RETREAT:  FEBRUARY 6TH

During this four-hour retreat, you will explore the foundational skills of mindfulness and mindful self-compassion. You will learn simple tools for treating yourself with kindness and compassionate and understand how these can be a motivator for change and enhanced joy.

Self-compassion is a courageous attitude that stands up to harm, including the harm that we unwittingly inflict on ourselves through self-criticism, self-isolation, or self-absorption. In this retreat you will work with the three key components of self-compassion: self-kindness; a sense of common humanity; and balanced, mindful awareness.

Through this retreat you will come to see that practicing self-compassion will:

~ Provide you with emotional strength and resilience.
~ Help you to admit your shortcomings.
~ Motive you to be kinder to yourself.
~ Allow you to forgive yourself when needed.
~ Assist you in relating wholeheartedly to yourself and others.
~ Most importantly . . . . give you authentically back to you!
